Voluntary Evacuation Area Removed

All areas once part of the Mandatory and Voluntary Evacuation Order from the Bayou Corne Sinkhole has been removed from any Evacuation Orders or State of Emergency.
The area has been given a No Further Action by the Office of Conservation and through the preponderance of evidence, the area has been deemed no longer at risk due to the Sinkhole and gas associated with its creation. The three objectives set out at the beginning of the Incident have been satisfied and unless something unusual would happen, all of the parish activities will return to normal operations.
