Bayou Corne/Grand Bayou Response Activity
Tuesday, July 15 work-
Sinkhole Activity Code 1 – indicating work is allowed on sinkhole and within containment berms. Seismic monitoring indicates low levels of subsurface activity near sinkhole/Oxy 3.

Air Monitoring/Sub-slab Sampling and Ventilation
– Conducting ventilation system inspections

– Continuing pumping on ORWs 4 (northwest of containment berm), 14 (Oxy 9 well pad), 15 (north of La 70, east of Gumbo Street), 48 (north of containment berm), 54 (west of Bayou Corne, south of La 70), 57 (southeast of Oxy 9 well pad)
– Opening ORWs back up to flare – 18 (west of containment berm), 24 (north of La 70, east of Gumbo St.), 28 (north of La 70, east of Gumbo St.), 39 (north of containment berm)
– Flushing/cleaning passive vent well at Bubble Site 23 (near original Oxy 3 well pad)
– Preparing to de-pressurize PMWs
– Cutting grass near ORWs north of La 70 and west of Bayou Corne

Containment/ Roads/ Sinkhole/Survey
– Conducting daily berm inspections
– Examining bubble sites to determine candidate for initial installation of gas cap equipment
– Conducting sampling of aquifer monitoring wells
– Conducting water sampling of sinkhole inflows
