Monday, June 2 work-
Sinkhole Activity Code 1 – indicating work is allowed on sinkhole and within containment berms. Seismic monitoring indicates low levels of subsurface activity near sinkhole/Oxy 3.
Air Monitoring/Sub-slab Sampling and Ventilation
– Conducting ventilation system inspections
ORW/CPT Wells
– Continuing pumping on ORWs 4 (northwest of containment berm), 15 (north of La 70, east of Gumbo Street), 48 (north of containment berm) and 54 (west of Bayou Corne, south of La 70)
– Checking pumps on ORWs 4 and 15
– Developing PMW 15
– Doing surface completion on PMW 04
Containment/ Roads/ Sinkhole/Survey
– Conducting daily berm inspections
– Placing limestone on berm between Oxy 9 and Oxy 10 well pads
