Sinkhole Activity Code 1 – indicating work is allowed on sinkhole and within containment berms. Seismic monitoring indicates continued low levels of subsurface activity near sinkhole/Oxy 3.
Air Monitoring/Sub-slab Sampling and Ventilation
– Conducting ventilation system inspections
ORW/CPT Wells
– Preparing to conduct pump test on ORW 38 (north of Sauce Piquante)
– Surveying settlement rods for ORW 38 (north of Sauce Piquante)
– Running temperature and pressure logs on Oxy 3A (working from Oxy 9 well pad)
Containment Berm/Roads/Sinkhole
– Continuing to haul and place sand for construction of new southern berm route
– Preparing inclinometer instrumentation for installation south of containment berm
– Surveying north containment berm and original south containment berm
