Sinkhole Activity Code 1 – indicating work is allowed on sinkhole and within containment berms. Seismic monitoring indicates continued low levels of subsurface activity near sinkhole/Oxy 3.
Air Monitoring/Sub-slab Sampling and Ventilation
– Conducting ventilation system inspections
ORW/CPT Wells
– De-pressurizing ORW 54 (north of La 70, west of Texas Brine facility) to change out wellhead
– Monitoring bubble site 56 (Bayou Corne, north of La 70)
– Installing pressure monitors on passive vent wells PVW-01 (west of Bayou Corne, south of La. 70) and PVW-03 (Sportsman’s Landing)
– Re-working wellhead on DPVE 22 (east of Gumbo Street/Sauce Piquante intersection) for conversion to passive venting
– Completing ORW 56 (west of Bayou Corne, south of Sportsman’s Landing)
– Drilling ORW 55 (west of Bayou Corne, south of Sportsman’s Landing)
– Sampling water removed from ORWs
– Surveying settlement rods on ORW 38 site (north of Sauce Piquante)
Containment Berm/Roads/Sinkhole
– Continuing to haul and place sand for construction of new southern berm route
– Continuing to haul and place sand for construction of access road for Oxy 9 well pad to ORW-57 (southeast of containment berm, east of Bayou Corne)
– Mobilizing sonic rig to install inclinometer south of sinkhole
