Notice: Evacuation Assistance Payments moved to Friday (1/31) this week

Due to the wintery weather and associated road closures the weekly Evacuation Assistance Payment distribution at the Command Trailer has been moved from Thursday to Friday (1/31) this week.

Normal Thursday distribution will resume next week.

Due to impending winter weather conditions, all parish governmental offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 and Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Determination for offices opening on Thursday (January 30, 2014) will be made on the prior day, pursuant to the current weather conditions at that time.

Please note that all Assumption parish schools will follow this same schedule. Schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a decision regarding Thursday to be announced.
