Sinkhole Activity Code 1 – indicating work is allowed on sinkhole and containment berm, seismic monitoring indicates low levels of sub-surface activity near sinkhole/Oxy 3
Sub-slab Sampling and Ventilation
– Conducting ventilation system inspections
ORW/CPT Wells
– Continue pumping water from ORWs 10 (west of containment berm) and 43 (north of containment berm) to enhance gas flow
– Completing deep aquifer monitoring well MRAA 04D (north of containment berm)
– Continuing installation of ORW 49 (south of La 70)
– Preparing locations along Bayou Corne for CPT installation
– Conducting perimeter air monitoring near ORW locations in Sportsman’s Landing
Containment Berm/Roads/Sinkhole
– Surveying containment berm settlement plates
– Transferring water from swamp to sinkhole
– Sampling water at containment outfalls
– Collecting monthly surface water samples
