Bayou Corne/Grand Bayou Response Activity

Wednesday, Sep. 18 work-

Sinkhole Activity Code 1 – lowest level – no detection of significant elevation of seismic activity in area of sinkhole/Oxy 3 cavern

Sub-slab Sampling and Ventilation

– Conducting 24-hr pressure test at 174 Crawfish Stew

– Evaluating power sourcing for AreaRae monitor located at Gumbo & Hwy 70

– Conducting in-stack and ambient monitoring for ventilation systems

– Rewiring vent systems at 116 Crawfish Stew

ORW/CPT Wells

– Delivering tanks for use in drawdown tests of OGRW 1 (Oxy 2 well pad) and ORW 9 (west of containment berm)

– Beginning drawdown test of OGRW 1 (Oxy 2 well pad)

– Installing CPT 49 (south of La. 70, near Sportsman’s Landing)

– Installing MIHPT 80 (east of Oxy 2 well pad)

Containment Berm/Roads/Sinkhole

– Beginning placement of concrete mats for overflow structure on western containment berm

– Picking up board mats for CPT sites west of Bayou Corne, south of La. 70

– Conducting sinkhole profile and sampling

– Performing weekly subsidence, containment berm settlement, and centerline surveys
