Bayou Corne/Grand Bayou Response Activity

Tuesday, Aug. 6 work-

Sinkhole Activity Code 1 – lowest level, indicating little seismic activity detected near sinkhole/Oxy 3

– Continuing sub-slab pressure monitoring at 107 Crawfish Stew, 135 Crawfish Stew, 1418A Jambalaya and 1433 Sauce Piquante

– Beginning subslab work on 1467 Sauce Piquante

ORW/CPT Wells

– Beginning installation of ORW 41 (near center of northern containment berm)

– MIHPT testing work near ORW 14 (Oxy 9 well pad ) – Membrane Interface Probe/Hydraulic Profiling Tool is intended to provide direct detection of natural gas to more readily determine location of subsurface gas zones in and near aquifer

– Re-completing CPT-84 (south of La. 70, northwest of containment berm)

– Re-grouting CPT 104W (near southwest corner of containment berm)

– Setting up to begin work on CPT 118W (southeast of Texas Brine facility, west of Grand Bayou)

Containment Berm/Roads/Sinkhole

– Hauling and placing clay on southern containment berm
