2:10 p.m. Blue Ribbon Commission Meeting Info

The Friday, April 5, meeting of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Bayou Corne/Grand Bayou Public safety meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Baton Rouge at the LSU Energy, Coast and Environment Building, Woods Auditorium, located off of Nicholson Extension on the LSU Campus.

Parking instructions: Parking has been set aside in the parking lot directly south of the Energy, Coastal and Environment Building, located on the south side of Nicholson Extension. Campus parking maps show this parking lot as X166 or the Oaks lot.

Driving directions from I-10

Route 1 – Eastbound into Baton Rouge, crossing Mississippi River

Exit at Nicholson Dr./Highland Rd. (Exit 155A).

Follow exit lane to right onto Terrace Ave. and its intersection with Nicholson Drive

Turn left on Nicholson Drive, continue to and through LSU Campus, just past Tiger Stadium, Nicholson Extension will be on left.

The Energy, Coast & Environment Building is located on the corner of Nicholson Drive and Nicholson Drive Extension next to Campus Federal Credit Union.

Route 2 – Eastbound and westbound I-10

Exit at Dalrymple Dr. (Exit 156B).

From the off-ramp, both eastbound and westbound traffic will turn right onto Dalrymple Dr.

Continue on Dalrymple Dr. past intersection with Highland Road, then take left onto Field House Drive, shortly followed by right at traffic circle onto North Stadium Road.

Follow North Stadium Road, which runs between Tiger Stadium and Pete Maravich Assembly Center, to intersection with Nicholson Drive.

Turn left on Nicholson Drive, Nicholson Extension will be on left, just past Tiger Stadium.

The Energy, Coast & Environment Building is located on the corner of Nicholson Drive and Nicholson Drive Extension next to Campus Federal Credit Union.

Route 3 – Eastbound and westbound on I-10

Exit at Acadian Thruway (Exit 157B).

If exiting from the eastbound off-ramp, turn right onto Acadian Thruway.

If exiting from the westbound off-ramp, turn left onto Acadian Thruway.

Take Acadian Thruway (which turns into Stanford Avenue and then into LSU Avenue) to Highland Rd.

Turn right onto Highland Rd. and continue to LSU campus – turn left on Nicholson Extension just past the point where Highland Rd. lanes are split by median, and continue to the Energy, Coast & Environment Building, which is located on the corner of Nicholson Drive and Nicholson Drive Extension next to Campus Federal Credit Union.
