Other Actions in Near-Term on Office of Conservation Directives
In status updates to Office of Conservation, Texas Brine reports:
Work continues to build out Rig Road west of sinkhole to access marsh vent well locations ORW 17, 18 and 19 – initial sinkhole containment nearly complete
Drilling of deep geophone well on Rig Road (G 03, south of Hwy. 70) completed, casing cemented and cement bond log performed – finalizing design of geophone array
Perforating ORW 9 (Marsh area west of Rig Road), completing ORW 6 (Marsh area south of community), preparing to drill ORW 5 (South end of Rig Road)
61 indoor air monitors (LEL and H2S monitors) installed in 24 Bayou Corne community properties to date
Field surveying and land access for 3-D seismic ongoing, surveying is 59 percent complete, drilling is 25 percent complete
Mid-to-deep aquifer monitoring wells (MRAA 1-3) – MRAA 1 (Oxy 1 well pad) screens set, ready for sampling; MRAA 2 (Oxy 2 well pad) well installed, determining depth to set casing and screens; MRAA 3 (Oxy 3 access road) well being drilled
